Hi, I have W2K pro and this had a share folders. When I try copy some files from my Toshiba notebook to my W2K shows a error that the resource is not available and viceversa from my w2k to TOshiba with WinME occurs the same error. This sound like the lan card?? my system specs. are: Windows 2k Pentium III 1 Ghz FC-PGA2 384 ram PC-133 Apacer and compaq Intel D815EPEA2 Realtek 8139C PCI Lan Card Sound Blaster Live Value Pinnacle Systems Studio PCTV PCI Gigabyte GA-660+ VGA

If the computers can see each other, the network cards are probably OK. Create a User Account on the 2000 machine using the same User name and password that you use to log on to te Me machine. In the Share permissions, give this username access rights.
Also, you didn't say what Protocols you have installed, but I would add Netbuei to both.
