Yup, you sure can. You will, however, need a hub or router. Other thing you will need is NetBios and IPX/SPX protocol installed in windows. The program I use to share my internet connection is called Sygate Home Network. It is very easy to configure, very stable, uses a small amount of resources, and is pretty fast.

Only problem is the fact that your modem is internal. If you know the model # of this, that would be helpful, I could be more specific. I'll give you an idea of my setup: CAT5 cable goes to external cable modem, ethernet cable goes from external cable modem to the 5 port router (or hub, doesnt matter), all computers in my house plug into the 5 port router. So the only problem with having an internal ISDN modem is the fact that it might not have an out jack that is designed for networking. It is, however, entirely possible that you can still slap a NIC into your PC with the modem and share it out that way, I am not sure. U can post more info and/or questions here or email me.

Or you can just get a router or hub. Add TCP/IP protocal your DSL uses the PPPoE protocal to send out to the internet. then configure the default gateway yo the machine can get out to the internet

You don't need to install seperate protocols, such as Matt stated above. If your computers are already networked, just do this..
Go to START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL:
Open your Network & Dial up folder.
Right click on your ISP and choose properties. You should see the sharing tab at the top. Click to select it and put a check where is says "Share this connection".
You may have to set your second computers NIC properties to "Obtain an IP address automatically". It depends if you assign them or not.. The best bet is to set it to obtain one from your computer with the internet connection.
You may have to log off and re-connect to see this work.

good luck

Win 2k comes with ICS (Internet Connection Sharing ) built in, which saves you the time and money of setting up a router or hub. As long as both your comps are set up in a LAN, then u can use one as a DHCP server and you are home free.

(two nics, one crossover cable) or (two nics, a hub device, one patch cable)
enable sharing on the adsl PC connection, set NIC IP in adsl unit to 192.168.0.1, set other pc to either DHCP or an address like 192.168.0.2. If using static IP then set DNS, Wins, default gateway to 192.168.0.1.
Works in our classroom.
Good luck,
B
