Comment:
I have setup the VPN connection, but I can not get the IPs right.
I have a home network using a cable modem, with all the computers behind a linksys router and an office network using a DSL modem and a DLink Router. I was wondering how I can get the IP address for my computers?
Can this be done, or is there a hardware limitation with the Modems/routers?

Modderman,
Thank you for asking because I had yet to see a viable answer to this question.
Your query today inspired me to find that answer and I have. The instructions are specifically for WinXP but the principles can easily be applied to Win2K.See http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2003Aug/fea20030828021469.htm as it explains it quite nicely for inside and outside of the local network.
Best regards,
Bryan

I got the IP addresses they end with .sd.sd.cox.net.(cox is my internet provider)
So I guess it is the actual internet IP, and not just the local network..
(I got the IP addresses of this website, when I go to post a message!)
Now I get "error 678: There was no answer"
The problem I am now running into is how to make the computer accept the incoming connection.
Win2000 doesn't have an "allow remote access" button like WinXP has. So is there a registry value I have to change?
Thanks for the help so far...
almost there...
