Comment:

When using the Search function in Windows (Start>>Search>>For files and folders), the "Look in" field defaults to "Local harddrives C,D..". I usually only perform searches on one of my five partitions. Having to change to that partition everytime is annoying.
Is there a way to set the default "Look in" field to that partition. Win 98 remembered the last used setting, this is what I'm looking for.

Thanks.

Why not just right click on the desired drive and select search??

Thanks for your reply. I thought of that, however I often use "Winkey+F" to bring up the find dialog and in that situation a default drive selection would be of great benefit.
