Comment:

I have never written services for NT server.
I need some help in making one of the current executable and make it a service.

My current excutable works like this:
1) it takes sevral parameters like source and destination server names, user names and passwords on both source and destination server, then it does some copying of files from souce to destination. The files it copies are given to the excutable by a TXT file using one of the arguments as TXT file name.

now if I were to use this excutable and make NT service out of that in which this service is running as a deamon where it always looking for new files at source how would i do that. I can make use of registry in order to save information like user name and passwords.

Please send me some sample code for writting NT service.
