Hi guys
I have installed windows 2000 with service pack4. now what happens is, every time when i restart my computer, after booting up my cpu starts doing some strange work for 1 or 2 minutes and then i get this dialogue box saying that "insert windows 2000 cd with service pack4". when i insert it, it loads something from cd and it gets ok. but this happens every time when i boot up my machine. do i have to insert cd EVERY time i boot up?

If you selected "archive files" when you ran the sp4 then all you need to do is go to "add-remove programs" and remove the sp4. The If you want it try reloading again. This may undo the problem.
