Hi,

I have a problem with a windows 2000 Server not showing up in My Network places.
It's an Active directory envirnment and was working before.

Can ping Server name ABC and it resolves to ip address from another PC.
But can no longer browse to Server in My Network places
2 mapped drives on this server show as disconnected.
Does not appear to be a DNS/Wins issue as server name is being resolved when i ping it

If i put an entry in the host file of PC for ABC server Mapped drives recover but still can't browse to ABC
in Network places.

any Ideas

thanks
