Hi All,

I just installed Windows 2000 advanced server on my pc and have no idea at all what to fill in ip address, subnet mask, default gateway ,primary and alternate dns servers field.

Mine is a stand alone server. The single purpose of installing Win 2000 is to learn and test ASP locally on my computer.

Thx,
Lili

Hi Lili, first off if you are not running a network with more than 20 computers attached to your desktop, do not install advanced server, but Win2k Pro. However, I do think you can just skip the ip address boxes upon installation.
