Hi all....

Has anyone got any clues how much you can secure telnet. I have Windows 2000 Server running and also have a firewall. I have specified that users provide a username and password to be able to get into telnet, but is there any of methods to secure it even more?

Telnet sucks, its very insecure.

Use Secure SHell ie SSH (openssh.com)

There are several clients available to make use of SSH's capabilities too, Putty for remote shells and WinSCP or Filezilla for SFTP
