CPU/Ram: 433 celeron 256mb

i am on win2k with all the latest updates. i canot go to any search engines. for example google.com doesnt work for me, going on yaoo.com and typing something in the search box will not work. this is only on one computer. plz help thx

Have you tried to repair your IE? If you haven't updated to SP4 then you can go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, highlight and click IE and select Repair from the choices provided.
If that doesn't work, run sfc /scannow from the Sart, Run window. You will need your original CD installation disk. That usually repairs files that may have been corrupted.
Another alternative that works on Win2k for just IE6 repair if you don't have IE6 listed in Add-Remove Programs, then in Start|Run then enter

"rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance"

without the quotes, exactly as shown, and select the appropriate entry.
