hello everybody, i have a silly question is that SCSI-2 and Ultra2 are the same one or different ?? if they're different then how many pins do the SCSI-2 have ?? i know Ultra2 = 68pin and 80pin

Generally you can divide SCSI into two sections: The single ended (SE, older ones) and the LVD (Low voltage differential) like Ultra-2 or ultra-160.
The third group would be HVD which is only used in mainframes.
The LVD have 68 or 80 pins, 80 pins are used for single connector adapters (SCA).
SCA is mostly used in servers, where you have a backplane installed for 6-8 disks seated in an aluminium frame with a fan for each disk.
