If the password protection box is grayed out how can I control logouts when screen savers kick in.

I'm guessing you're not an Admin, or you would have access to the Password protection. Unless of course a GPO is controlling that. How about a little more information as to what you want to do?

Workstation administrator, yes. Supposedly no GPOs are affecting this area. I searched the registry with the small amount of time I've had recently to find the section or sections that might be relevant and figured I might save some time and be able to validate what I find by reading any replies. One PC in a group has the Password box grayed out and I would like it to be editable when logged on briefly with admin rights. I hope to have my answer soon, on my own or with some assistance.
