My screensaver does not work. I have Rollup SP installed, I am sure this is when it stopped working.

Is this a Windows screen saver or a third party program?

jam, screen savers are not obsolete. Contrary to popular belief, even LCD screens can have burn-in. I've seen it.

tacbob, what are you screensaver settings? Does the screen saver just not come on, or does it error? A little more info please.

I was being somewhat sarcastic. Screensavers hog memory & the more complex they are, the more resources they suck up. Better to have your screensaver set to "blank" or to the simpliest one you can find (ex, Starfield)

I am having the same problem with screensavers and here is a run down on my system:

Processor: AMD Athlon 3000+
Operating System: Windows 89se (Not running XP because I have to use software that will not work on an XP system, no upgrades available for XP and this software is now discontinued because the company is no longer in business or as I like to call it "Abandonedware"), I recently performed a clean install of the OS and that is when the problem started.
Memory: 512mb
Harddrive: 100gb (over 80gb free)
Screensaver: Blank Screen but tried other screensavers that comes with Windows, they didn't work either.
Wait: 5 minutes, tried different wait times from 1 to 60 minutes.
In Power Management Properties, I have the following power scheme settings:
System Standby: Never
Turn Monitor Off: 2 hours (also does not work), even when set to anything from 1 minute to 5 hours.
Turn off Harddisks: Never
