I created a screensaver using Screen Savers To Go (www.howiesfunware.com) and the screensaver works great on my PC, I put in 6 or 7 pictures to rotate through, and it's fine. I was able to export it into a SCR file, again no troubles. I placed it on a share on my server.
I added a line in the logon script to copy it to the user's system32 folder, and it copies without fail.
I created a group policy for the OU and used it to assign the computers and users in the OU to use this screen saver, apply it after 2 minutes (will change after testing), and to activate the screen saver.
On client machines, I go to screen saver tab, and it has the approptiate name, and appropriate timer displayed, and the preview shows the first picture to be displayed. In fact, when I hit preview, it runs flawlessly.
However, it never kicks in. I leave the PC for 30 minutes, and the screensaver doesn't start. Nothing else is running that owuld cause interference, when I change the Policy to put a windows basic sreensaver instead of my custom one, it works fine. But my custom one never starts on it's own.
Any ideas?

try copying the file that you saved the screen saver as to the computer you are trying to view it on and save it in the same manner.hope it helps

Thank you, but I'm trying to set it up as a policy that will require (or more accurately, not allow) any user intervention, and without me or my staff having to go to each computer.
It's OK, though, it seems to be working on most of the computers I try it on, just not on some of them.
Thank you for getting back to me, though, most people don't go back 6 days on the boards anymore!
