Hey,

I was wondering if there's a way to have a task run no matter what user is logged in, even if nobody is logged in. Is there a way to do this? Remember, I'd like it to work even on the login screen. Thanks!

If you make the account the task is supposed to run under an administrative level account, it should run regardless. As to whether or not it will run if the PC is in use, that's hard to say, some won't run if the computer is busy. What task do you want to run?

Hi,
I've written a program in Visual Basic that automatically exits after it has run. I want to start the program every hour, then it will automatically turn itself off when it has finished running. I've tried using Scheduled Tasks in Windows, but this requires that i set a duration for how long i want the program to run (which i don't need because, as i already mentioned, the program turns itself off automatically). Is there any simple windows-based program that i can use just to simply begin a program every hour? Can you suggest anyone i could contact who may know of a "timer-type" function such as this? I appreciate your help. Best regards, Tim.
