Comment:

Is it possible to open a specific web page by using scheduled tasks? When I tried to add the new task from my "Favorites" folder, an error message popped up saying it is an invalid file name.

I'm not sure what adding a task from the "Favorites" folders means. You can create a scheduled task from ControlPanel->Scheduled Tasks and in the Run: box enter "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.exe" http://www.somesite.com
and go through the motions.
You can use Netscape if you so chose.
