Does any1 know how to activate so that the second speaker output works on my SBlive Player 1024. Please E-mail me....

You'll need to waut for Creative to release its' new w2k drivers. They say mid March but there's a rumour that they're around at the moment, just not released, sitting in a 91Mb file, heh heh...

The release in march is made by creative itself and should be around 15 MB.
But its no rumour but the truth that there is a released version around and this one is 90MB it is released by dell and some people say it works great others say it don't work at all. You can find it at dell's site http://support.dell.com/us/en/filelib/download/index.asp?fileid=2765
I haven't loaded it yet because I use the old NT drivers with Live Ware 3.0 by creative. I KNOW they don't work under W2K I tried myself to install them and it was a desaster. But I found a installation guide. It makes you boot your PC a hundred times and I don't really know why I had to install the drivers 4 times or so but after all that it works. You can download the installation instruction on http://www.win2kworld.com/ go to "device drivers" and look for "Live!ware 3 under Win2K installation instructions by Anthony Toste".

IDEFIX,
I was wondering if you know of anohter or have a copy of your own installation instructions on liveware!
That win2kworld link has been dead for at least a week or so.
Patrick

Sorry, I loaded it some days ago, maybe a week or so. And I don't know another site, but maybe I can put it somewhere... let's see...
I havent got the instruction here but at home so I'll look for a solution after work. About 18:00 this afternoon GMT+1 (Germany).
I'll find some webspace to load it up and I'll let you know where to find it. Just wait a few more hours...

I just tried again to download it from w2kworld and though the link and the mirror1 link are dead I managed to load it with the mirror2 link http://schiphol.simplenet.com/w2section/download_files/liveware31.zip
The file is only about 800 kByte and it's a very precize instruction with lots of pictures.
Maybe you can load it from there... if not just tell my. Put your answer down here because I can't read my email at work but only at home so it'll take longer to answer you.
