saving to a map drive corrupts doc.

When saving a Word 2000 doc to a mapped drive located on the server, the document becomes corrupted. Non printing characters show that page breaks occur without requesting and symbols replace text on several lines. Backspacing occurs while typing without hitting the backspace key. I thought perhaps that it was an issue with macros but these problems do not occur when saving to the c drive.

it might be the problem with the permissions, which were given on ur network drive.
