I have following problem, everytime I want to connect to a server which requires username and password IE 5.5 won't remember my username and password although I always check the box "SAVE PASSWORD IN YOUR PASSWORD LIST"

I'cuurently running Windows 2000 with SP2 and IE 5.5

Does anyone know a solution to this problem or maybe how I can fix a possibly damaged password list file in windows 2000.

Thanks

Check to see that the
Internet Explorer>"Do Not Allow Autocomplete to Save to Passwords" policy is not enabled in the active console
