Comment: On shutdown, I get the following error message. It hangs up my system until I click end program button: "RWinSocket Program Not Responding" If I don't click the end program before timeout, the system hangs completely and I then need to push the power button to get it to turn off. It's starting to get a very annoying. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance, Larry

Download msconfig.exe for windows 2000 and go into the startup tab and start eliminating startp items and restarting (for the changes to take effect) and shutting down to see if the program(s) that were shut down were the cause of the problem. Also download and run adaware www.lavasoftusa.com. When you find the suspicious program just go back into msconfig and enable all of the startup items that didnt cause a problem. Divide and conquerer.

What is RwinSocket? Anybody heard of it? lal
