rundll32.exe has generated errors

I am running Win 2000 and everytime I have tried to download Real Player, halfway through the download it quits and I get the message "rundll32.exe has generated errors and will be shut down by Windows. Yiou will need to restart the program".
Any solution suggestions?

Use the search slot at the top of this page. Type in your lead-in and then select the OS and hit go search.

There has been a few other people with this problem and the solution is in the archives of this forum.
