I am trying to run a life assurance program and I am getting a run-time error2147417848(80010108) with a message of Automation error the object invoked has disconnected from it's client. The program is running fine on one win 2000 prof. system but I get the above error on the others

Hi Bruce, The same error "-2147417848(80010108) with a message of Automation error the object invoked has disconnected from it's client" I have experinced when i was trying to call a report by an instance of an exe which was calling from another exe. The summary which i had experinced is whenever a program try to invoke any method or property which cause to make dirty data for any component causees to invoke an unhandled exception which in turn crash the component's call thats why u always receives message "The object invoked has disconnected from it's client". I am not sure how this happens. Just check ur chunk of code which is responsible for this exception. I am not sure how much it will help u..btw best of luck.
