I have an employee who when trys to open a particular word document the system 32 folder opens up, she is recieving the document via e-mail (outlook sp3), also when you try to save the file it says the url path could not be found???? url??? very strange

Um, .rtf is not a word document, .doc is.
you have a Rich Text Format document, which could include HTML, XML, GIFs JPEGs, among other (maybe nasty) things.
Try deleting the .rtf file, and getting back to work =)

The attachment shows up as a word doc! and the actual file name is "bla bla bla.rtf". Thank you Einstein for sharing your wisdom with me (or lack of!!!) once you double click this file the system 32 folder opens up, if you have a question for me ask! if you are going to waste my time please don't!!

Well, perhaps you should ask a succinct question...
And of course WORD reads RTF, since Microsoft built and integrated the format.
But it's still not a WORD DOC file...genius..
Sounds to me like you are doing just that...wasting time.
have fun =)

Oh look everyone Einstein is back and wittier than ever!!! I am tired of repeating myself (or even better....you asking the same question that I have been trying to get an answer to) NO s--- , I AM AWARE THAT THIS FILE IS NOT A WORD DOCUMENT...HOWEVER IT SHOWS UP AS ONE...AND GUESS WHAT!!!! IT OPENS UP WITH WORD!!! AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE DUMB ASS? THIS FILE OPENS UP WITH WORD ON EVERY OTHER COMPUTER AND WORKS FINE..... BUT WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT TO OPEN IT UP ON HER PC IT IMEDIATELY OPENS UP THE SYSTEM 32 FOLDER.

So, what do you want to do?
Try offering a problem...instead of just being difficult.
But I guess by your tone above, WE ALL CAN SEE you prefer just being difficult.
Good luck.
