Hi, I've installed my windows 2000 and i had the internet working fine. Bu t i don't know what i did and now i can't logg in on my own e-mail page and i can't install anything because an error message occurs saying : " RPC-server not found! ".... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEase help....what shall i do?

More info would be helpful. Is your "Email Page" a web page? or are you using an email program like Outlook express, or Outlook? Is this a "fresh install" or have you loaded other apps like firewall or other items? Do you have virus protection? Hi, Thank you for replying...:) OK, it's like that: I had problems with my computer so i formated the hard drive and instead of installing win 98 i installed win 2000 from a friend which turned out to be a trial version!!! But i'm working with it anyway now, and at the begining i copied my boyfriends IP adress to use the net till i got mine now...and i don't know what i did with the network installtion but i realialized that i can surf on the net but when i try to log in on my www.home.se adress to see my mail i can't get it. I can't copy and paste, i downloaded a driver to improve the color and i can't insatll it because it tells me: RPC server not available! I downloaded SP4 and it doesn't seems to work anyway even when i restarted the computer. I have no virus protection yet because as i said i washed away everything from my computer. What shall i do?
