In a month or so the company I work for will be replacing all its PCs' for brand new ones. Each one will run XP pro. I plan on using a RIS server to blow the images out to the new PCs'. However isnt the XP product registration going to screw up the RIS process, is there a way to make the RIPrep image use a different product code for each install without manually having to enter it?? And also is it true that if two XP machines on a network have the same product code then they will not be able to communicate. Thanks guys.

Not possible to use more than 1 product key. If you don't have a volume license you will need to enter a different prodkey manually on each machine. And also each machine will need to be activated after install.

If 2 machines have the same product key they will be able to communicate, however you will still need to activate the machines through MS.
