Ridding yourself of CTFMON.EXE

I thought this might be helpful to some people since I could barely find any information on what this file was.

Apparently when you install microphone/voice recognition support in Office XP it adds this file to startup. I tried removing it from the add/remove programs on the XP CD with no luck. The only way I got rid of this annoying "feature" was by searching for "ctfmon.exe" in the registry and finding it under a 'run' folder. Deleted it, and the problem disappeared at next reboot.
