I just accidently deleted (emptied recycle) my girlfriends bookmarks for Netscape. These bookmarks have been in progress since '96. SHe is going to be pissed at me.

Is there anyway to retrieve files after I have emptied the recycle bin?

All and any help is very much appreciated.

James

Hi once files or in this case bookmarks are deleted and emptied from the recycle bin, the disk space becomes free space and is then prone to being overwritten, simply powering the machine will cause this overwriting. There is a chance of recovery but it needs an expert to piece through the drives freespace.
Try www.computer-recovery.com they are good at recovering deleted items.
