I need to restore registry in Windows Me, from DOS prompt. Where are the backup versions stored? scanreg is not supported, only scanregw but I can not enter windows.

Actually this is a Windows 2000 forum. If you boot with a ME bootdisk you should have scanreg (it is supported). If it is not on the disk look for it using search scanreg*.*
