I am having trouble with what I am assuming is a virus. Usually at first I get a message that svchost.exe is disbaled. From that moment all kinds of copy and paste functions don't work anymore. After that (or sometimes even without that) the system restarts, NO WARNING, nothing, just BOOM restart,

I have run stinger (the latest) as well as my own AVGuard Virus scanner, but nothing.

Please, anybody a clue what to do next?

This isn't a one-off problem... my girl-friend is also having the same problem. She's running Windows 2000 with about 650Mhz P3 Processor, 128MB RAM, 12GB HDD.

I'll be watching with interest.
