I installed Win 2000 (NTFS File System) and don't really like it. I can't play some of my games, etc. I've now bought Windows ME to replace it with. I don't know anything about DOS to speak of. Can anyone help me reformat this thing to Win 95 so I can upgrade to ME?
Thanks for your help! By the way, I don't have the 4 disc thing for Win 2000... I actually got a burned copy of it from someone so it's only on 1 disc.

I suggest you take a look at the ME message board before you do all that. There are LOTS of driver/hardware/compatability issues and problems with ME. If you like games, why not just use Win98 until ME is all worked out. (I'll give you one example--if you have a Creative sound card in your system, forget about ME--no support.) Good luck...I'd do something else besides ME for now.

First, I suggest converting your hard drive back to FAT32, by using PartitionMagic Pro 5.01. Then, reboot your computer with a WinMe start-up disk in the floopy drive. Get to the DOS prompt A:\> and type "Format c:" (warning: back-up all of your data before doing this). When formatting is done, hit the RESET button to restart the computer. Now, install your operating system with the WinMe CD.
Here's a second option--try a dual-boot system with both Win2k and WinMe. You'll get the stability of Win2k and the gaming ability of WinMe.

windows 2000 is better belevie me(than me,me just suck) iam runnig windows whistler latest build windows 2002

First, I would suggest you fdisk the hard drive. That's right, just boot up with a pirated dos boot disk, or a windows boot disk, and fdisk the friggin' drive.
Next, turn yourself in for ripping off microsoft by illegally running software you didn't pay for.

i just upgraded to ME at home an my SBlive works like a champ, in fact, from some of the posts i've seen, all drivers from '98 are supported in ME.
