I have IE 5.00.3700.1000 installed on my win2k and it gives the following error when I try to save a file
"The instruction at 0x7766fa79 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read"
2. The page, thus, is not saved.
4. How can I repair the IE ?? The IE does not appear in Add/remove Prog.
5. I am not interested in upgrading the IE because as a matter of routine I use Firefox. I am trying the repair IE since Firefox is also slow sometimes in loading pages. But the firefox saves the pages alright.
