Renaming files without extensions

CPU/Ram: 1.2 GHz, 512 MB

Hello:

Is there anyway to write a batch program which will search a directory for file names with NO extensions, and only rename those? The tricky part is that there are other files with the same name, but they have extsnsions. And, can this be done automatically? TIA

Maybe... Just maybe...

You can use Flash Renamer (http://www.rlvision.com/flashren/about.asp). Possibly use the wildcard *.*** as an exclusion? Good luck with it.
