I have a program, RegCure Ver 1.0.0.43, that starts up when I boot up right after the splash screen. I have been trying to find a way to keep this from happening. I have check the startup items, scanned the registry under the run and runonce and looked in the program files but still can not find anything that will stop it from starting up. Do any of you have an idea where I could look to block it from starting at bootup?

Tried Googling for that program. IMO that actually looks like it might be spyware/malware. I recommend uninstalling it. The fact that you can't find a way to disable at startup should tell you something. I found some threads at a different forum that all say they have had issues with that product AND it didn't do anything worthwhile. If I am correct you may have to manually cleanup after it. If you don't currently use them, I would recommend you download and run AdawareSE & Spybot Search & Destroy 1.4. These freeware programs are excellent.

Thanks for the input. I found it under control panel scheduled task. I will remove the program if you think it may contain spyware but I will run a Adaware and spybot first to see if it picks up anything. Thanks again
