removing parallel win2k installn

Comment:
Windows 2000 would not boot due to file corruption(s) and in my desperation to retrieve important files, I installed a parallel windows 2000 on C:\winnt2, rather than running a repair.
I have since fixed the corruption in the original win2k installation and would like to know how I can remove the parallel installation without causing any problems.

Me personally, I'd just delete the unwanted directory, and reboot. Then if there are any weird errors, just to a repair installation again. At least this time, you wont have a second installation of windows hanging around.

delete winnt2. remove the winnt2 entry from the boot.ini.
all done. shouldn't have to do a repair install since there is no mixing of the registry.
