Hello:

Subject: KT600-A Motherboard Installation.

From the installation of drivers from the Setup CD, VIA Raid Tools v2.40 loads as well.
However, I am not running any Raid configuration Setup, only using the regular Master/Slave drive configuration.
By clicking the Raid icon on the Task bar a dialog appears with this message:
“No stand-alone disk and No usable disk array attached, please check if any disk array is broken.”
I am not ready to get into this aspect of hdd arrangement, but plan to do so later on.
My problem is this: Is it safe to delete or disable this feature?
It is an annoyance simply because its doing nothing and the icon just sits there in the tray.
Will appreciate any comment/suggestions.

Thanks
Purdue112
