I've just upgraded my video driver, and find that my desktop icons now are underlined. I've looked at the usual suspects in an effort to remove the underlining, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Do you meant the text used to label icons is underlined? All appearance conrols, that i'm aware of, are in Display Properties > Appearance where you can designate icon size, spacing, text font, etc., etc.. Otherwise I've no clue. G'luck!

That's what I thought too... When I checked Display Properties > Appearance, there's no indication that underlining is active.

Problem solved. The solution was in Folder Options > General > Click items as follows... I thought I had checked this previously, but maybe not.
