I dont know the right way but i can tell you what i did. first you need to know which folder your win2k's are installed into, you probably will have a winnt folder and maybe a windows folder. the winnt folder will be a clean install and the windows will be an upgrade. then go to run and type cmd to bring up the command prompt and type: attrib boot.ini -r -h -s (make sure your at C: prompt) this will let you see your boot.ini file on your c drive, go to that file and delete the windows you dont want, (make sure you know which is which, you should see the path to the folder) reboot your system to see alls well and your in the one you want to keep, if your satisfied with it delete the folder with the other windows is in, you'll know your deleting the right one cos windows shouldn't let you delete the one your using..

if your not confident enough to edit your boot.ini file copy and past the entire entry in here and i'll let you know what to delete.
Summary: it boots up with windows. remove its autostart entries from the registry and/or system.ini, win.ini, winstart.bat, wininit.ini, autoexec.bat, etc... Then reboot and delete the trojan ...
