Whenever I start Windows Imaging, I am required to select a TWAIN source. Two of the entries in the Acquire Device list are the ALARIS QuickVideo weeCam and USB Dual-mode Camera. Both of these entries are for devices that I no longer have or use. I would like to remove these entries, but I am not completely sure how. Could anyone please give me some tips on how to remove these old TWAIN entries and clean up these old camera drivers?

A couple of years ago I fell into the trap of fiddlin' with used printers and flatbed scanners, actually trying to learn something---and ran into twain conflicts.
Some of this twain related stuff just plain conflicts, and is poorly written software, and worse yet, even some of the HP stuff does not completely uninstall when you "tell" it to.
(I've yet to figure out how software writers are smart enough to write an installer program, but don't seem to be smart enough to write an uninstaller program.)
Anyhow, only thing I can suggest is to try and find support site for all hardware/ software involved, see if there is a "manual" method of uninstalling, and then try reinstalling what you need.
If you can't find any info on these, you might go to the HP support site, and read through some of the FAQ's and othe info on manually removing some of their old scanners.

Devices have appropriately named folders in C:\WINNT\TWAIN_32
I suggest you try copying that folder somewhere safe, and delete the subfolders for missing devices. I found several for printer/scanners I'd had to install drivers for to test/repair. Deleting the relevant folders removed their entries from the source list in Imaging.
