Remove log off and stand by options

How do you remove the stand by and log off options from the shut down combo menu. I'd rather students shut down than leave the pc ready for the next person to log in and it also mean I can run psshutdown (if pc logged in) as this don't work with the login screen showing.

You don't mention your environment details, so this is just local policy but you can do the same with group policy.

Start>run>mmc Cosole>Add/remove...>Group Policy

This gives you settings to be applied to people on this workstation.

Go to user configuration>Administrative templates>System>Logon/Logoff

Enable to appropriate policies here and under "user configuration>Administrative templates>Start menu & taskbar".
