Is there anyway to remove the "Mini" Windows Media Player in the left column of Windows Explorer?

Thanks,

I don't even see it there. Why do you want to remove it?

It's under the View, "Customize this folder". Follow the prompts to disable it.

You need to click on a Audio/Video file, and the Mini Windows Media Player will show on the left margin. I want to remove it because I use PowerDVD to play my music/video, and when I'm searching through my music and click on a file, this "Mini" WMP has to read the file and it causes my Music to stutter.

And, Larry, Thanks for the response but in the "Customize this Folder" Wizard, I only see Standard, Classic, Simple and Image Preview in the Folder Template Selection. But there's no "option" to turn it on or off.
