Hi Tech Folk!! Hope u can help here.......
I have accidentally installed Remote Installation Service (RIS) on my server and now i do not want to use it at all! When i boot my server the "Configure Your Server" dialog box displays and asks me to configure RIS. How can i stop or remove this component? I have tried using the Add/Remove option but this just hangs now i suspectbecause the component is mis-configured!

Try this: When configure your server window comes up, go on and configure RIS. it will ask you for a windows 2000 Pro CD. Put it in and get through it the best you can. Restart if needed. then go to add\remove programs> add\remove Win Componets> and uncheck RIS.
