Hi

I seem to change my mind more than not!!

I am now thinking of putting Win2k, Apache, MySql and PHP onto one of my old machines and then putting it downstairs (away from my office) so it can connect to my network (no more free ports upstairs) and then leave it on when all up and running.

My question is what is the best FREE program for remote controll so I can work on it from the office as once setup ther will be no Keyb, monitor etc.

I have used VNC but find that the remote screen runs slow, I want something that will run the remote machine smoothly.

Cheers

Use Remote Desktop Connection.

It can be found in:

Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> Communications

This is an excellent application to use within a LAN environment.

I already use that to control my Media Center from the office, but i was under the impression it was awkward to setup on Win2k?

Thanks for the reply
