Hi i have a system setup to be a server, the problem is remote access to it, at the moment i have VNC but i would perfer to use RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) but i cannot find anyway of allowing this as i have tried to connect to it though RDC and it doesnt let me.

Any Ideas?

Make sure Remote Control is enabled on the destination machine and that the Terminal Service Service is started.

You're attempting to do this from an XP machine, correct? The Services are not listed in Add/Remove Programs.

Right-click My Computer on the 2000 machine
Manage
Services and Applications
Services
Terminal Services

Is that started?

Or, using Computer Managment from the XP machine check the service on the 2000 box.

only Windows 2000 Server has Terminal Services. You probably don't have it.
