Have a nice day!

At home I have a computer running Win2K, connected to an external USB dial-up modem. This machine can be waken up either by ring or USB device.
In my office I have a computer running WinXP, which has an internal modem installed (PCI).
So both machines can be connected to the internet using telephone line and dial-up modem.

At times, at home or at work, I need to access the other computer, e.g. at work I need some files which are on my computer at home.
I read, or heard that it is possible, but don't know how to. Could you help with the steps, or give me a clue to do a search.

Thanks in advance

You can use the remote access feature of net meeting which is included with the windows operating system. Go to the following site for details.

Download TightVNC. It allows desktop sharing with password protection.
It's also cross-platform, so it doesn't matter which OS either computer has; it'll still work.
