Have a nice day!
At home I have a computer running Win2K, connected to an external USB dial-up modem. This machine can be waken up either by ring or USB device. In my office I have a computer running WinXP, which has an internal modem installed (PCI). So both machines can be connected to the internet using telephone line and dial-up modem.
At times, at home or at work, I need to access the other computer, e.g. at work I need some files which are on my computer at home. I read, or heard that it is possible, but don't know how to. Could you help with the steps, or give me a clue to do a search.

Download TightVNC. It allows desktop sharing with password protection. It's also cross-platform, so it doesn't matter which OS either computer has; it'll still work.
