Comment:

I wanted to get a dual boot setup between windows 98 and windows 2000
In windows 2000 the windows 98 partition is displayed as the second partition D:

Is there any way to change the win 98 partition to the last drive letter or make it invisible to windows 2000 altogether ??

Thanks

You can change the drive letter in Disk Management which you can find in:
Administrative Tools >> Computer Management

You can hide it from explorer - use tweakui (my comouter tab - uncheck the D: drive) - http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/NTTweakUI.asp

Don't bother. W2K and XP will see the partition or even if its another drive.

If a drive you can disable in in Device manager. If a partition you can NOT assign a drive letter to it.
