Hi, I have 2 machines running 2000 and Recovery console. I want to stop one of the machines from working so I test the Recovery console on it. I know the console is rubbish but I want to know how to use it. just in case :)

Just put "Recovery Console" into Microsoft's search and you are going to find the articles related with that. Using the recovery console you can enble or disable services which is a very important tool.

Recoevery Console is one of the best things on Win2k. It's NOT RUBBISH! learn to use it...it will save you downtime and reinstallation one day!
