I have an NT 4 SP6a cluster used for file sharing. The B node failed and needs to be reloaded. Currently, the A node is active and operating normally. I would like to take this opportunity to upgrade the cluster to 2k. Accordingly, I reloaded the B node with Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Cluster services have not yet been installed. The clustered array has been disconnected from node B.

I would like to add cluster services to the B node and join it to the cluster. Then I would like to rebuild node A with Windows 2000 Advanced Server and rejoin it to the cluster. I do not want to upgrade the operating systems on either node. I want clean installs only. Basically, I want to perform a Rolling Upgrade without the upgrade.

Can I do this without any problems? Anyone have good documentation on performing this "upgrade"?
