Comment:

I tried a game, BattleField 1942 today and it rebooted my win2000
each time when a game is loading.

I tried it several times and got the same result
no matter what game I tried to load.

This happens when the loading bar reach around
50%.

What was wrong?

I have

- win2000 perfessional (5.0.2195)
- pII 600MH
- 256 mb memory
- Video card: 3D Phophet 4500 (64MB)
- Sound: Creative AudioPCI (ES1371, ES1373)

Thanks

Sounds like a hardware driver problem. Make sure you have the latest patches for your sound card, video card, and direct x. You can usually find the latest drivers from the card manufacturers.
