This thing really bugs me!

Before I upgraded to Windows 2000, my computer used to switch itself off when doing shut down. But after upgrade it stops at that stupid "it's safe to turn off your computer screen"

Please does anyone know how to fix this?

Check to see if there are newer drivers for your video card. I had the same problem. Tried everything. Finally played around with 2 of the my video cards new drivers and one stopped the problem.
