I recently install the Opera browser. Now I want to remove it. When I go to Control Panel and add/remove programs, I get the message, "cannot find install.log file".

hi,
it seems that u have deleted or some how it was removed from ur computer, if u have other machine installed, just get install.log file and place it, u will get it un-installed.
